Instructions
Follow the instructions to login on the vmware portal and open a virtual machine in a browser window as discussed here
Once you have an Ubuntu VM open in a new window, proceed as per the screens below.
Login as the “vmuser”, you will have to create your password the first time you login.
Log out from the guest OS, and close the browser window.
